About this role
DebtBook seeks a Software Engineer to build treasury and capital markets infrastructure for the public sector. You'll work full-stack on a Ruby on Rails and React application serving state/local governments and financial institutions, collaborating across product and design teams.
What you'll do
- Develop full-stack features across the SDLC—from solution design through deployment and monitoring
- Write and break down work into tickets, owning delivery end-to-end
- Build tests and ensure code quality before merging and releasing
- Deploy and monitor your own code with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and domain specialists on solution design
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
