Decagon seeks an IT Engineer to serve as the hands-on IT presence for its New York office, managing identity and access systems, endpoint administration, and SaaS operations for a fast-scaling AI company. You'll own the full employee identity lifecycle, administer core platforms like Okta and Google Workspace, and automate IT workflows while supporting security and compliance initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Provide on-site IT support for the New York office, resolving hardware, account, and access issues through tickets and in-person assistance
  • Administer Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and other core SaaS platforms; manage SSO, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations
  • Own the complete employee identity lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning
  • Manage Mac endpoints using Rippling MDM, including configuration policies, patching, and compliance enforcement
  • Automate recurring IT and access-management tasks using Python, Bash, and integration tools like Workato
  • Support security and compliance efforts including least-privilege access, MFA enforcement, and SOC 2 documentation
