About this role

Dialpad seeks a Software Engineer for Agentic Systems to architect and lead the development of production-grade AI agent platforms. You'll own the technical strategy for multi-agent orchestration, real-time reasoning, and autonomous workflow execution while mentoring teams and shaping an AI-native engineering culture.

What you'll do

  • Own architectural roadmap and delivery of agentic infrastructure, orchestration layers, and memory systems
  • Design and deploy scalable multi-modal AI agents capable of autonomous support and real-time voice reasoning
  • Act as technical anchor, mentoring senior peers and defining standards for AI-native development practices
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research to align technical execution with business strategy
  • Research and implement emerging agent frameworks, LLM optimization, retrieval systems, and safety guardrails
  • Drive implementation of evaluation and observability systems for agent performance
