About this role
Join Discord's Notifications squad to build and optimize the platform that delivers high-value notifications to millions of users. You'll work across client experiences, infrastructure, and machine learning to ensure notifications are engaging and relevant while maintaining excellent system performance.
What you'll do
- Enhance client device experiences for notification delivery and preference management
- Build and maintain the notification platform infrastructure used across Discord teams
- Collaborate with ML engineers to improve notification quality and signal optimization
- Monitor and maintain platform operational health and client performance standards
- Partner with Product and Design to balance user delight, delivery speed, and business impact
