About this role

DISHER seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop automation and industrial equipment, working from concept through testing and documentation. You'll collaborate with customers and vendors, lead technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a positive, innovative engineering culture.

What you'll do

  • Design automation equipment and industrial products from concept through prototype, testing, and documentation
  • Lead design reviews and guide technical decision-making across multiple projects
  • Engage with customers and vendors on-site to provide technical leadership and support troubleshooting
  • Estimate project scope, timelines, and technical tasks for customer proposals and engagements
  • Mentor entry-level engineers and contribute to team development and best practices
  • Support business development with technical input on proposals and customer discussions
