About this role

Divergent seeks a CNC Programmer to lead machining operations for automotive, aerospace, and defense components. You'll develop 5-axis milling programs using Siemens NX, design fixtures and work-holding solutions, and drive innovation in advanced manufacturing processes from concept through production.

What you'll do

  • Develop 5-axis and 3+2 milling programs using Siemens NX CAM with simulation and verification
  • Design and manufacture fixtures and work-holding solutions for R&D and production using Siemens NX CAD
  • Create probing programs and on-machine verification strategies using MSP Perfect-Part
  • Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations and collaborate with engineering teams
  • Support first-article components through CNC setup, machining, inspection, and troubleshooting
  • Generate shop floor documentation including setup sheets, operator instructions, and tool lists
