Divergent seeks a Quality Engineer to lead quality control initiatives and continuous improvement in high-precision manufacturing for automotive and aerospace sectors. What you'll do

  • Lead process improvement and defect reduction initiatives by analyzing quality data to identify root causes and implement standardized controls
  • Optimize inspection strategies using CMM programming, Gage R&R, and Cpk analyses to balance precision with efficiency
  • Serve as quality liaison for customers, managing audits, PPAP/FAIR documentation, and addressing quality concerns
  • Manage nonconformance activities, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and Material Review Board processes
  • Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track yield, defect rates, and delivery performance
  • Support process validation, new product introductions, and mentor quality team members on best practices
