About this role
DLH seeks an experienced CANES subject matter expert to develop and maintain Navy training curriculum aligned with the latest fleet baselines. This Engineering Technician IV role involves creating courseware, lesson plans, and lab exercises that translate system updates and real-world network operations into effective training products for naval personnel.
What you'll do
- Review system updates and configuration changes to keep curriculum aligned with current CANES fleet baseline
- Develop and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, and practical lab exercises
- Apply Instructional System Design methodology to define training requirements and learning objectives
- Use Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM and AIM to create and manage curriculum content
- Support pilot courses and fleet training events to validate training effectiveness
- Evaluate training feedback and incorporate improvements to maintain technical accuracy and quality
