About this role
Join DRW as a Software Developer Intern for a 10-week summer program building high-performance trading and risk applications. You'll work on computationally intensive projects under senior guidance with the goal of deploying production code, while enjoying Chicago's culture through organized social events.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions for trading and risk management
- Build decoders to process raw exchange packet data into accessible formats
- Create normalizers to construct order books for traded instruments
- Develop applications that facilitate trading operations and risk analysis
- Collaborate with senior technologists on real projects with production deployment
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment
