About this role
DoorDash Labs seeks a Robotics Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain critical onboard systems for autonomous drones, including process management, health monitoring, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll own real-time, fault-tolerant infrastructure that enables aerial autonomy development at scale.
What you'll do
- Develop and own onboard components including process management, health monitoring, configuration management, and message passing systems
- Own C++/Python build systems and ROS2 middleware layer, including cross-compilation for Jetson platforms
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and regression testing infrastructure for robotics software
- Build parameterization system with schema definition, validation, migration, and deployment capabilities
- Create robotics logging, visualization, and debugging tools to enhance team productivity
- Define reliability standards for onboard software including watchdogs, failover mechanisms, and graceful degradation

- C++ and Python development with systems-level debugging
