About this role
Join DV Equities' equities desk as a Software Developer Intern for summer 2027, where you'll contribute to a low-latency trading platform by developing system components in C++ or building research tools in Python alongside experienced traders and engineers.
What you'll do
- Develop low-latency trading system components in C++ or data/backtesting tools in Python based on primary language expertise
- Assist in design, development, and maintenance of high-performance trading infrastructure
- Build analysis and strategy research tools, with focus on data pipelines and backtesting frameworks
- Optimize and refactor existing code for performance and reliability improvements
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to learn industry best practices
- Collaborate with senior traders, quantitative researchers, and developers across the full trading stack
