About this role
Echodyne seeks a Software Engineer II to design and develop high-assurance embedded software for radar systems using C++ and Linux. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, real-time radar subsystems and contribute to software development practices in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize high-assurance C++ software components for radar platforms
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain quality
- Contribute to improvements in coding practices, testing methodologies, and development tools
- Support testing efforts and collaborate with partner teams across hardware and software disciplines
- Work with radar, signal processing, and software engineers to implement platform functionality
- Debug embedded systems using specialized tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers
