About this role

Epic Games is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement memory architectures for foundation models that enable long-horizon reasoning and experience retention. You'll work with researchers across the company to develop scalable, production-ready solutions for memory systems that work across different modalities and products.

What you'll do

  • Design memory architectures that generalize across different problems, modalities, and products
  • Define evaluation metrics and benchmarks to measure memory system performance
  • Develop and deploy production-grade machine learning models and algorithms
  • Assess model effectiveness and provide recommendations for technical roadmap priorities
  • Collaborate with research teams on memory-intensive projects across the organization
  • Work on local deployment and post-training optimization of open-weight foundation models
