About this role

Join Epic Games' UI Engineering team as an intern to develop player-facing UI systems for a major Battle Royale title. You'll collaborate with art, design, and gameplay teams to build and optimize in-game interfaces while learning live-service development practices in a remote, cross-functional environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement new in-game UI systems and their integration with gameplay features
  • Optimize and debug existing UI and new systems
  • Learn and apply live-service development best practices
  • Collaborate with Art, Design, QA, Production, and Gameplay teams
  • Write maintainable, well-documented code with extensibility in mind
  • Share knowledge and support team success
