About this role

E-Space seeks a DSP Software Engineer to design and optimize 5G NR physical-layer algorithms for satellite IoT communications. You'll develop C/C++ firmware, create reference models, run link-level simulations, and support chip bring-up in a fast-paced space-tech environment.

What you'll do

  • Implement and evaluate DSP and 5G NR PHY functions for satellite non-terrestrial networks per specifications
  • Develop and execute PHY/link-level simulations measuring error rates, throughput, and performance under satellite channel conditions
  • Design, test, and optimize C/C++ DSP firmware to meet execution time, memory, power, and accuracy requirements
  • Create floating-point and fixed-point reference models with test vectors and documentation for ASIC designers
  • Contribute to SystemC TLM and high-level synthesis development with synthesizable implementations
  • Support pre-silicon verification and chip bring-up by running regressions and investigating hardware discrepancies

  • Embedded software constraints (execution time, memory, hardware/software interfaces)
