About this role

Everlaw seeks a Software Engineer I to build end-to-end product features for their legal technology platform, working autonomously across the full tech stack in a hybrid Oakland office. You'll own projects from design through deployment, collaborate with product and design teams, and grow your engineering skills with dedicated mentorship.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement new product features from architectural planning through full deployment
  • Debug and maintain platform reliability across a large-scale codebase
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Developer Operations on seamless feature launches
  • Document systems and share knowledge to improve codebase maintainability
  • Partner with onboarding mentor to learn platform architecture and development practices
