About this role
We are supporting a client through a significant ERP consolidation initiative focused on bringing multiple business units, currently operating on a separate ERP, onto a centralized NCR Power HQ (formerly Retalix HQ) environment.
The project will involve evaluating the current Power HQ design, identifying and implementing necessary configuration changes, migrating data, and modifying integrations to support the additional business units.
We are seeking a hands-on Retail ERP Consultant with deep Power HQ/Retalix expertise who can help shape and execute the migration from assessment through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Assess the current NCR Power HQ environment and system design to determine readiness for consolidation.
Recommend and implement configuration changes required to bring multiple business units onto a single Power HQ instance.
Lead or support configuration across key areas, including:
Item setup and management
Vendor setup and management
Merchandising hierarchies
Plan and execute data migration from the legacy ERP into Power HQ.
Assess and modify integrations between Power HQ and downstream systems, including POS, finance, ecommerce, and vendor EDI.
Identify areas where the existing Power HQ environment may need to be reconfigured to support the consolidated model.
Partner closely with technology and program leadership, leveraging internal development resources throughout the initiative.
Provide hands-on functional and technical expertise to help guide system design, migration, and implementation decisions.
Qualifications
Deep hands-on experience with NCR Power HQ and/or Retalix HQ, including system configuration and implementation.
Strong understanding of retail merchandising processes, including item, vendor, and merchandising hierarchy setup.
Experience with ERP data migration, including mapping, conversion, and validation.
Experience assessing and modifying integrations with downstream systems such as POS, finance, ecommerce, and vendor EDI.
Experience evaluating an existing ERP environment and identifying necessary configuration or design changes.
Experience consolidating multiple business units or banners onto a single ERP instance and/or leading a major ERP migration or transformation.
Ability to work across functional and technical areas, partnering effectively with business, technology, and program leadership.
Comfortable providing hands-on expertise throughout the project, from initial assessment and solution design through migration and implementation.
Duration: 40 hours a week, starting at 6 months with potential for it to be a multi-year engagement
