fab2 is seeking a skilled Optical Systems Engineer to design, build, and test precision optical systems for semiconductor manufacturing. This hands-on role requires rapid prototyping and iteration, working with both custom components and off-the-shelf products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical design and analysis, and a proven track record of building functional optical systems.
What you'll do
- Design, prototype, and develop optical and optomechanical components and systems
- Build, align, and test optical systems
- Integrate off-the-shelf products like motion stages and metrology equipment
- Perform optical performance modeling and analysis
- Source components and materials, including custom optics
- Design lens mounting components
