fab2 is seeking a Software Engineer to build a foundational AI platform powering their chip fabrication processes. This greenfield role offers broad ownership across the AI stack, involving infrastructure development, agent system creation, and the implementation of AI-driven tools for engineering and fab operations. You'll play a critical role in shaping how AI is utilized throughout the organization.

What you'll do

  • Build infrastructure for AI model deployment across cloud and on-prem compute.
  • Develop AI agents, shared skills, and execution environments.
  • Create evaluations and benchmarks for AI agent performance.
  • Convert engineering knowledge into shared AI tools.
  • Develop AI systems for automated experimentation and defect detection.
  • Explore AI systems to interact with physical equipment.
