fab2 is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to ensure their semiconductor manufacturing equipment functions seamlessly from prototype to production. This role involves bridging the gap between firmware, control software, electronics, and actuators, requiring a versatile skillset including software development, system design, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem-solver with experience in physical systems.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the technical owner and software point of contact for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Lead bring-up, debug, and engineering test of new hardware.
  • Write and modify control software and firmware (C, Rust, Python).
  • Translate hardware changes into software requirements.
  • Use data analysis to identify and triage problems.
  • Drive fixes across firmware, electronics, mechanical, and process teams.
