About this role

Field AI seeks an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the design and development of electrical systems for autonomous robotic hardware. You'll work across sensing, compute, power distribution, and communication systems while collaborating with a small, fast-moving hardware team focused on real-world deployment.

What you'll do

  • Assist in designing and developing electrical systems and components for robotic payloads
  • Conduct testing and analysis of electrical circuits and systems
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on project tasks and troubleshooting
  • Support integration of sensing systems (LiDAR, camera, IMU, GPS) and compute platforms
  • Help develop and document electrical procedures and testing protocols
  • Participate in hardware prototyping, validation, and quality assurance activities
