About this role
Figma is seeking software engineering interns for summer 2027 to work embedded in small engineering teams across product, infrastructure, security, or exploratory areas. Interns will contribute to meaningful features and systems while receiving mentorship and learning in a collaborative environment based in San Francisco or New York.
What you'll do
- Work embedded within a Figma engineering team on assigned projects
- Build and ship user-facing features, infrastructure tools, or security systems depending on team match
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to plan and execute features
- Write, test, document, and maintain code contributions
- Participate in code reviews and provide peer feedback
- Complete and ship your assigned project(s) by the end of the internship
