About this role
Figma is hiring software engineering interns for Winter 2027 to work embedded within engineering teams across product, infrastructure, security, and other areas. Interns will collaborate with mentors and teammates to ship meaningful features and systems while learning in a supportive environment.
What you'll do
- Embed with a Figma engineering team and contribute to projects aligned with team goals
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA to break down features and plan timelines
- Build, document, and maintain tests, features, and infrastructure components
- Participate in peer code review and share constructive feedback
- Ship completed project(s) by the end of the internship
- Choose focus area from product, infrastructure, security, or open exploration
