About this role

Figure, an AI robotics company, seeks a hands-on Infrastructure Security Engineer to design and implement security controls protecting backend services across multi-cloud and on-premises environments. This senior individual contributor role involves building secure defaults, identity frameworks, zero-trust networking, and self-service security tooling while working closely with DevOps, networking, and detection teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement multi-cloud authentication, authorization, and identity management systems including SSO, workload identity, and just-in-time elevated access
  • Partner with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to secure AI tooling deployment, service communication, and network boundaries
  • Build asset inventory, configuration drift detection, and vulnerability remediation pipelines across cloud, on-prem, and neocloud environments
  • Advance zero-trust networking model with identity-aware, posture-gated access and egress controls for workloads
  • Define secure-by-default networking patterns and security controls as versioned, reviewed code
  • Enable Detection & Response team with telemetry generation and environment access during incidents
