About this role
Fluidstack seeks an Industrial Warehouse Engineer to design and optimize warehouse operations for AI infrastructure data centers scaling to gigawatt capacity. You'll build workflows, conduct time-motion studies, model facility layouts, and partner with software teams to create efficient warehouse systems from the ground up across multiple sites.
What you'll do
- Design pick, pack, receiving, and RMA workflows optimized for travel distance, throughput, and dock-to-floor time
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and training protocols
- Model rack, dock, and staging layouts balancing throughput with real estate costs
- Create process documentation and standard work instructions enabling new sites to reach full productivity quickly
- Partner with WMS and inventory management system teams to align software with physical workflows
- Identify operational inefficiencies through site observation and data analysis
