About this role

Fluidstack seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee electrical equipment quality—including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway—from supplier qualification through delivery. You'll conduct factory audits and witness testing globally, embed quality requirements into contracts, and drive corrective actions to ensure reliability at scale for next-generation AI compute infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end supplier quality for electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS, busway)
  • Conduct factory audits and witness testing (FAT, routine tests) at OEM facilities worldwide
  • Establish inspection and test requirements in purchase orders to make quality contractual
  • Investigate and drive corrective actions on quality escapes
  • Track supplier quality metrics and data to inform future sourcing decisions
  • Maintain critical standards under schedule pressure to protect equipment reliability
