About this role
Formlabs is seeking a Software Product Designer to lead UX/UI design across their embedded, desktop, and web 3D printing products. You'll collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate customer insights into innovative interfaces, from early-stage concepts through shipped releases.
What you'll do
- Understand customer needs and translate them into innovative product features and user experiences
- Collaborate with engineering to refine designs from wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes to public release
- Conduct user research, usability studies, and data analysis to inform design decisions
- Partner with product managers to ideate and validate early-stage feature concepts
- Audit end-to-end user experience across the product ecosystem and propose strategic initiatives
- Design and maintain scalable design systems ensuring consistency across all products
