About this role
Junior Systems Engineer supporting modernization of 100+ enterprise business systems in secure cloud environments. You'll collaborate with development teams on functional testing, UAT, requirements management, and cloud infrastructure validation, primarily using AWS and Atlassian tools.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute functional, integration, and acceptance test plans for cloud-based systems in AWS environments
- Manage requirements throughout project lifecycle ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with Lead Systems Engineer and development teams on cloud system implementation and integration
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives with systems engineering insights
- Communicate technical and architectural vision to bridge gaps between engineering, development, and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot cloud system issues and optimize configurations for scalability, security, and NIST/ISO/Section 508 compliance
