About this role

Join Freeform as a Manufacturing Engineer to help scale autonomous metal 3D printing factories. You'll optimize post-processing and machining workflows, design scalable manufacturing processes, and bridge R&D with production in a hands-on, fast-paced environment—no 3D printing experience required.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable manufacturing processes for 3D-printed parts and hardware
  • Improve fixturing, test procedures, and post-processing workflows to optimize part flow
  • Build and iterate on tooling, jigs, and test setups for reliable high-throughput production
  • Develop process standards and documentation to support production scaling
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks across parts, materials, and data flow
  • Contribute to CNC machining workflows including programming, setup, and multi-axis optimization
