About this role

Galaxy seeks an EHS Engineer to serve as the technical safety leader at the Helios data center campus in Afton, Texas. You'll independently manage compliance programs, conduct incident investigations, deliver training, and maintain a preventive safety culture across operations and construction teams.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement site-level EHS compliance programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards
  • Conduct job hazard analyses, pre-task planning, and risk assessments for assigned work areas
  • Manage hazardous waste programs including characterization, labeling, manifesting, and RCRA regulatory reporting
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, document findings, and develop corrective action plans
  • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping including 300/300A logs, 301 forms, and regulatory submittals
  • Develop and deliver EHS training independently to employees, subcontractors, and new hires
