About this role

Gallatin seeks a cleared software engineer to build end-to-end logistics decision systems for national security missions. You'll design APIs, data pipelines, and database schemas while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready features that enhance military and disaster response operations.

What you'll do

  • Build and extend API layers with performant CRUD operations focused on accuracy and speed
  • Design and maintain relational database schemas and data models for complex real-world logistics entities
  • Create data pipelines to ingest, transform, and distribute data across multiple systems
  • Collaborate with UX, product, and backend teams on rapid feature development and deployment
  • Contribute tested, production-ready code that passes CI/CD pipelines and code reviews
  • Help define and improve engineering best practices, documentation, and CI/CD workflows
