About this role
Gallup is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to help maintain and optimize the reliability of their global technology platform. You'll gain hands-on experience with observability tools, automation, and incident response while working alongside experienced engineers in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Build and improve observability using Dynatrace and PagerDuty to monitor AWS-hosted applications
- Create dashboards, alerts, and metrics to provide real-time insights into application performance
- Support automated alerting workflows integrated with Slack
- Shadow and assist with incident response to learn detection, resolution, and prevention practices
- Write scripts and automation to reduce repetitive operational tasks
- Collaborate with site reliability engineers, DevOps engineers, and software developers
