About this role
Gather AI seeks a Robotics Engineer to develop and deploy autonomous drone and material handling equipment vision systems for warehouse automation. You'll work across the full robotics stack—hardware and software—writing production code, analyzing field data, and supporting customer deployments in real-world supply chain environments.
What you'll do
- Develop deep understanding of drone or MHEV platform architecture spanning hardware and software
- Write production software for tooling, observability, and data analysis to ensure system performance and reliability
- Perform root cause analysis on field data and generate reports to drive engineering improvements
- Travel to customer sites for system debugging, deployment support, and hands-on problem solving
- Collaborate with pod team and cross-functional partners to ship features and resolve production issues
- Contribute to expanding product portfolio into new platforms like freezer variants and wearables
