About this role

OnePay seeks a Quality Engineer to build automated testing systems that enable rapid feature shipping without quality compromises. You'll design and maintain test frameworks for mobile and backend systems, work with AI-assisted development, and partner across teams to establish confidence in releases.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain automation frameworks testing mobile apps and backend systems at scale
  • Design agentic testing flows and tooling that keeps pace with development velocity
  • Partner with feature and platform teams to integrate testing into the development workflow
  • Develop test infrastructure from scratch using modern engineering practices
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand system behavior and testing requirements
  • Champion AI-assisted development workflows to maximize engineering productivity

What they're looking for

  • Test automation and SDET experience (3–8 years)
  • TypeScript and Node.js
  • Mobile testing (iOS/Android) and React Native
  • Backend testing and microservice architecture understanding
  • Kubernetes and AWS familiarity
  • Test framework design and infrastructure development
  • AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor)
  • NestJS or similar modern backend frameworks
