About this role
General Matter, a nuclear fuel enrichment company backed by top venture capital firms, seeks a recent electrical engineering graduate to design power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for industrial and mission-critical facilities. You'll work with experienced engineers on BIM-based electrical systems for data centers, manufacturing plants, and large-scale infrastructure, with opportunities to explore automation and coding.
What you'll do
- Design and coordinate electrical power systems in BIM for industrial and critical facilities
- Perform load calculations, circuit analysis, panel schedules, and equipment layouts under senior guidance
- Assist in designing medium-voltage distribution networks, substations, and backup systems with single-line diagrams
- Contribute to BIM modeling using Revit and AutoCAD to integrate with other disciplines
- Support lighting design, grounding, and protective device coordination
- Participate in workflow automation and data analytics using visual programming or coding tools
