About this role
General Matter seeks an EHS Engineer to develop and implement safety programs for uranium enrichment operations in Paducah, Kentucky. You'll manage chemical, radiological, and industrial hazards while supporting pilot-scale facility development and ensuring regulatory compliance in this mission-driven nuclear fuel production company.
What you'll do
- Support development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's EHS management system
- Perform and document hazard analyses for R&D activities and pilot-scale operations
- Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams on safe facility design, equipment installation, and commissioning
- Manage chemical, radiological, and industrial hazard mitigation
- Ensure regulatory compliance across EHS programs
