Mobile Engineer

About this role

Giga seeks a Staff Mobile Engineer to design and build iOS and Android SDKs that embed AI voice and chat agents into customer applications. You'll own the full technical direction for mobile integration, from SDK architecture to deep OS capabilities, while collaborating closely with design and backend teams at this well-funded AI startup.

What you'll do

• Lead design and implementation of native iOS and Android SDKs for embedding Giga agents
• Own deep OS integrations including voice routing, background execution, notifications, and app extensions
• Drive UI and performance excellence with attention to animations, gestures, accessibility, and offline behavior
• Make architectural decisions for how agents appear and interact on mobile devices
• Collaborate with design and frontend teams to identify and build compelling mobile experiences
• Write and ship production code while setting engineering quality standards across the team
