About this role

Notability seeks an iOS engineer to develop high-performance features for its learning platform across Apple devices. You'll own the full development lifecycle—from design through testing—while collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams in a hybrid San Francisco setting.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship new features that deeply integrate with iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms
  • Design, code, test, and debug both new and existing systems with a focus on modernization
  • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies for systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Communicate progress and blockers to product, design, QA, and management stakeholders
  • Collaborate across engineering and product teams to solve technical problems
