Technical Support Engineer

New York City (Remote)$120k–$140kfulltimemidAdded yesterday

About this role

Join Glide's production quality team as a Technical Support Engineer, owning bugs end-to-end across a banking platform serving community institutions. You'll orchestrate AI coding agents to diagnose and fix issues, ship verified solutions, and extend the agent tooling that enables a small team to maintain quality at scale.

What you'll do

  • Own production bugs end-to-end: reproduce, diagnose, fix, verify, and confirm stability
  • Drive ambiguous customer reports to root cause across frontend, backend, and banking integrations
  • Orchestrate AI agents through diagnostic and repair workflows while catching their errors
  • Ship fixes as reviewed pull requests with attached evidence and clear customer explanations
  • Extend internal agent tooling, MCP servers, and triage workflows to improve team efficiency
  • Identify and fix classes of bugs systematically, strengthening alerts and runbooks

What they're looking for

  • TypeScript and full-stack debugging across React, Node, SQL, and third-party APIs
  • Production incident response and root cause analysis with logs, traces, and databases
  • AI coding agent workflow orchestration and error detection
  • Technical communication to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proof-oriented testing and verification methodology
  • Self-directed work management and deadline ownership
  • Next.js, tRPC, AWS, or structured logging platforms (Sentry, Axiom, Datadog)
  • Fintech or regulated environment experience
