About this role

Glydways is seeking a System Test Engineer to design and operate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments for an autonomous transit system. You'll develop test procedures, automate regression testing, manage test infrastructure, and analyze results to ensure system safety and reliability before real-world deployment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute HIL test plans, procedures, and automated test cases for autonomous transit behavior
  • Build and maintain HIL benches, test harnesses, simulated interfaces, hardware connections, and data acquisition systems
  • Translate requirements and operational scenarios into repeatable tests with clear pass/fail criteria
  • Expand automated regression coverage to catch issues earlier in the development cycle
  • Troubleshoot tests involving embedded controllers, vehicle subsystems, autonomy interfaces, and fault handling
  • Analyze logs and telemetry to identify anomalies and support root-cause analysis
