Gruve seeks a Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise firewall solutions across customer environments, focusing on Cisco ASA/FTD platforms. This hands-on delivery role requires owning projects end-to-end while collaborating with architects and stakeholders, with travel required.

What you'll do

  • Implement and configure enterprise firewalls (NGFW, FTD, VPNs, NAT, NAC/ISE, SASE) according to approved designs
  • Manage firewall policies, access rules, NAT configurations, and security profiles following industry best practices
  • Support firewall migrations from Cisco ASA and third-party platforms to Cisco FTD environments
  • Troubleshoot firewall and network security issues including traffic drops, NAT problems, and VPN failures
  • Perform lab and staging validation of firewall rules and security configurations before production deployment
  • Create documentation including firewall rules, network diagrams, VPN inventories, and operational runbooks
