About this role

Haast Autonomous is seeking a Senior CAD Loft Engineer to shape the geometric foundation of their autonomous aircraft. You'll own the master CAD model, translating aerodynamic and structural requirements into precise, manufacturable aircraft geometry. This role demands expertise in advanced surfacing and a passion for building a cutting-edge medical logistics network.

What you'll do

  • Maintain the master CAD model and outer mold line for aircraft.
  • Develop aircraft lofts from various data inputs (airfoil, aerodynamic surfaces, etc.).
  • Create production-quality surfaces for fuselage, wings, and other aircraft components.
  • Establish aircraft coordinate systems and reference geometry.
  • Build robust parametric models using advanced CAD techniques.
  • Evaluate surface quality using various CAD inspection methods.
