About this role

Hadrian seeks an IT Engineer for its new precision manufacturing facility in Cherokee, Alabama. You'll lead on-site IT operations, manage endpoints and infrastructure, support facility employees, and grow the IT team as the facility scales, working independently while coordinating with central IT teams.

What you'll do

  • Provide hands-on IT support for facility and production staff, managing ticket queues and driving issues to resolution
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle, asset inventory, and device management using MDM and asset management tools
  • Maintain local network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, and switches; escalate to central teams as needed
  • Support IT facility buildout including coordination with construction vendors on electrical and low-voltage infrastructure placement
  • Own employee IT onboarding/offboarding including hardware setup, account provisioning, and access management
  • Enforce security policies (EDR, MDM, IAM), support CMMC Level 2 compliance, and coordinate on security incidents
