Security Engineer, Full Stack
About this role
Hadrian seeks a Security Engineer to establish security foundations for its autonomous factory platform as it scales to external customers. You'll own security across the full stack—from application code and cloud infrastructure to Kubernetes, identity management, and factory floor systems—building automation and controls that embed security by default rather than bolting it on afterward.
What you'll do
- Design and implement security controls across application, cloud (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, identity, and operational technology systems
- Build automation tooling, CI/CD checks, and SDKs that enforce secure practices without manual overhead
- Investigate security incidents, contain threats, and convert findings into systemic improvements
- Establish compliance foundations for CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, and ITAR boundaries as engineered controls
- Learn unfamiliar manufacturing and OT systems, map real risks, and design security that fits Hadrian's production model
- Make explicit risk-vs-innovation trade-offs in technical decisions, helping the business choose deliberately
