About this role

Hadrian seeks a Tooling Engineer to join its Special Projects division, designing and implementing precision tooling systems for large-scale aerospace and defense manufacturing. You'll work directly with leadership on R&D initiatives, collaborating across engineering teams to develop solutions that enhance production efficiency and quality at scale.

What you'll do

  • Design structural and mechanical tooling for large components and assemblies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to build, source, and implement tooling systems
  • Perform FEA and static analysis to validate tooling under real-world conditions
  • Work with technicians and manufacturing teams on installation and proper tooling use
  • Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of tooling throughout production
  • Provide technical documentation and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
