About this role

Handshake is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build and optimize ML systems powering job search, recommendations, and user understanding on their platform. You'll work with retrieval and ranking models, embeddings, and experimentation systems while collaborating with experienced engineers and data scientists to deploy production solutions.

What you'll do

  • Build and improve ML models for search, recommendations, notifications, and embeddings
  • Develop, test, and deploy models and supporting services to production
  • Work with large datasets to create features, train models, and evaluate performance

  • Monitor production models and improve quality, reliability, latency, and scalability
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate business needs into ML solutions
