NVH Engineer
About this role
Hankook Tire seeks an NVH Test Engineer to conduct experimental and analytical evaluations of tire and wheel noise, vibration, and harshness performance. You will execute modal and on-vehicle testing, maintain lab systems, and use measurement and simulation tools to optimize NVH characteristics, with travel to U.S. proving grounds.
What you'll do
- Plan and perform experimental modal testing of tire assemblies and wheels under various boundary conditions
- Interpret and apply OEM, industry, and governmental NVH test standards and performance requirements
- Design test rigs and fixtures for modal and NVH testing activities
- Conduct on-vehicle NVH testing and measurement at proving-ground sites
- Maintain laboratory capability, quality systems, and test equipment
- Use measurement and simulation tools to assess NVH performance contributions
