About this role

Harbinger Motors seeks a Field Quality Engineer to investigate and resolve complex vehicle system failures across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. You'll combine hands-on diagnostics with data analytics to identify reliability issues early, translate field findings into design improvements, and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams.

What you'll do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex failures in mechanical systems, electrical architectures, and software integration
  • Perform predictive reliability analysis using statistical tools to forecast potential failure modes in the vehicle fleet
  • Manage and analyze field performance data, ensuring quality and routing insights to engineering teams
  • Partner with hardware and software teams to develop and implement reliability growth plans based on field data
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) initiatives across cross-functional teams
  • Travel to customer sites to support field investigations and gather real-world performance data
