About this role
Harbinger seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to manage manufacturing and datacenter systems spanning factory floors to cloud environments. This on-site role combines hands-on hardware management with infrastructure automation, requiring expertise across Linux, Windows, virtualization, networking, and IaC tools to ensure 24/7 operational reliability.
What you'll do
- Build and manage end-to-end infrastructure from datacenter systems to factory-floor edge devices, MES stations, and IoT equipment
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet to automate provisioning and deployments
- Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive issue detection and incident response
- Establish GitOps workflows and apply SRE principles to ensure continuous system availability
- Participate in on-call rotations to support business continuity and system stability
- Collaborate on-site with manufacturing, facilities, and business systems teams on physical hardware and infrastructure management
