About this role
Harbinger seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure battery component quality and reliability throughout the product lifecycle. You'll drive root cause analysis, establish quality standards, manage supplier quality, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and design teams to continuously improve EV battery systems.
What you'll do
- Monitor battery quality metrics and escalate emerging issues using process and warranty data
- Lead root cause analysis and drive cross-functional resolution with data-driven accountability
- Develop and maintain quality standards, control systems, and supplier protocols for battery products
- Conduct inspections, testing, and statistical investigations on materials, processes, and assemblies
- Participate in design reviews to identify and mitigate manufacturing and assembly risks
- Lead MRB meetings and represent quality in engineering change control for battery systems
